THE ZIMRO TRIO. The Zimro Trio is an exciting new force on the chamber music scene. Focusing on
music for violin, clarinet and piano, the Trio boasts three of the UK's premier chamber musicians playing music
ranging from the exquisite charm of Mozart's Kegelstatt trio to the exuberant folk rhythms of Bartok to the
lighthearted humour of Milhaud. Clarinetist Neyire Ashworth is a founder member of the Britten-Pears
Ensemble, with whom she has toured Britain and the USA. Paul Barritt, violin, combines a busy career as recitalist,
chamber musician, concerto soloist and teacher, and is Permanent Guest Leader of the Hallé Orchestra. Daniel Becker
was First Prize winner at the 2003 British Contemporary Piano Competition and has performed at the Wigmore Hall,
Purcell Room, Salle
Cortot Paris and the Weill Recital Hall New York.
