HANNAH MARCINOWICZ, saxophone. Hannah
graduated with First Class Honours in 2005 from the Royal
Academy of Music, also receiving a Foundation Award and the
Henry Ellice Lees prize. In June 2008 she was awarded the
prestigious Médaille d'Or from the Conservatoire for Saxophone
Performance and Chamber Music. She has worked with many top UK
orchestras and in 2006 recorded two “Classic Experience” albums
for Cramer Music.
DANIEL SWAIN, piano. Daniel read music at
St. Anne's College, Oxford, then won a scholarship to study at
the Royal Academy of Music. He graduated with the highest
honours and an “Award for excellence” and was subsequently
awarded a Junior Fellowship. He has won numerous awards and
prizes for his work with singers and instrumentalists and
received the 2007 Royal Overseas League Parnell Award for
accompanists.
